Milford Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 750 acres.
The project generates 277,500MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 31,000 households, offsetting 235,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development status
The project got commissioned in November 2020.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Pacific under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 99MW.
Contractors involved
McCarthy Building Companies was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 293,000 modules at the site.
TMEIC Power Electronics Products supplied 27 inverters to the project site.
The project is utilising trackers supplied by NEXTracker.
First Solar and NovaSource Power Services were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
