Description

The project is being developed by STEAG State Power. Aboitiz Power and La Filipina Uy Gongco are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 85% and 15% respectively.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant that will be used for Baseload.

Mindanao Power Plant (Mindanao Power Plant Unit I) consists of 1 steam turbine with 116MW nameplate capacity.

Mindanao Power Plant (Mindanao Power Plant Unit II) consists of 1 steam turbine with 116MW nameplate capacity.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in November 2006.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the Mindanao Power Plant (Mindanao Power Plant Unit I) will be sold to National Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

The power generated from the Mindanao Power Plant (Mindanao Power Plant Unit II) will be sold to National Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
