Description
The project was developed by Mirfa International Power & Water. Abu Dhabi National Energy, Engie and Sojitz are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60%, 20% and 20% respectively.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant.

Contractors involved
Ansaldo Energia, Hyundai Engineering and Hyundai Engineering & Construction were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of GE 9E gas turbines, each with 90MW nameplate capacity.
Thomassen Energy is the O&M contractor for thermal power project for a period of 12 years.
