Description
The project is being developed by Goldwind Australia and WestWind Energy. Goldwind Australia and Nebras Power QPSC are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
The project is expected to generate 1,050,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 228,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $750m.

Moorabool Wind Farm (Moorabool Wind Farm-Phase IA) will be equipped with Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology GW-136/3000 turbines. The phase consists of 27 turbines.
Moorabool Wind Farm (Moorabool Wind Farm-Phase IB) will be equipped with Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology GW-136/3000 turbines. The phase consists of 8 turbines.
Moorabool Wind Farm (Moorabool Wind Farm-Phase IC) will be equipped with Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology GW-136/3000 turbines. The phase consists of 15 turbines.
Moorabool Wind Farm (Moorabool Wind Farm-Phase II) will be equipped with Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology GW-136/3000 turbines. The phase consists of 54 turbines with 3MW nameplate capacity.
