Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Akuo Energy Pacific and GVCE Mooroopna Solar. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.
Mooroopna Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 30 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 39,200MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 10,100 households. The project is expected to offset 42,340t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $15.86m.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
