Description

The project was developed by Port Bajool and Ratch-Australia. The project is currently owned by Ratch-Australia with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 540,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 75,000 households, offsetting 450,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

Vestas Wind Systems was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Mount Emerald (Mount Emerald P-I) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V117-3.45 MW turbines. The phase consists of 37 turbines with 3.45MW nameplate capacity.

Mount Emerald (Mount Emerald P-II) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V112-3.3 MW turbines. The phase consists of 16 turbines with 3.3MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2018, for a period of 15 years.
