Description

The project is being developed by RES Australia and is currently owned by Partners Group with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 33,000,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 220,000 households. The project is expected to offset 900,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved

GE Renewable Energy is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Murra Warra (Murra Warra_II) project. Senvion Australia is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Murra Warra (Murra Warra_IB) project.

Murra Warra (Murra Warra_IA) will be equipped with Senvion 3.7M144 turbines. The phase consists of 13 turbines with 3.7MW nameplate capacity.

Murra Warra (Murra Warra_IB) will be equipped with Senvion 3.7M144 turbines. The phase consists of 48 turbines with 3.7MW nameplate capacity.

Murra Warra (Murra Warra_II) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy 5.3-158 MW turbines. The phase consists of 38 turbines with 5.5MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy are expected to be contracted for rendering of operations & maintenance services for the project.
