Description

The project is being developed by PetroWind Energy. BCPG Public, PetroGreen Energy and EEI Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 40% and 20% respectively.

The Nabas-Buruanga-Malay (Nabas-Buruanga-Malay Phase I), will have 78m high towers.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in June 2015.

Contractors involved

Cendaur Engineering is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Nabas-Buruanga-Malay (Nabas-Buruanga-Malay Phase I) will be equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy G90-2.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 18 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Nabas-Buruanga-Malay (Nabas-Buruanga-Malay Phase II) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems turbines. The phase consists of 6 turbines, each with 2.2MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the Nabas-Buruanga-Malay (Nabas-Buruanga-Malay Phase II) for a period of 10 years.
