Description

The project is being developed by PT Meulaboh Power Generation. China Datang, PT Pembangunan Perumahan Energi and PT Sumberdaya Sewatama are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 62%, 34% and 4% respectively.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant.

The project will generate 2,803,000MWh of electricity.

The thermal power project will consists of 2 turbines each with 200 MW nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2018. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 400MW.
