Description

The project was developed by Mitsubishi Electric. Mitsubishi, Toda and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 40% and 10% respectively.

Nagasaki Tadewara Mega Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 28 hectares.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 3,500 households, offsetting 4,100t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $29.312m.

The project got commissioned in April 2015.

Toda was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Mitsubishi Electric was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 50,554 modules each with 261W of nameplate capacity.

Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems supplied 20 inverters to the project site.
