Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by ALLETE, Basin Electric Power Coop and Dairyland Power Cooperative. The company's ownership stake in the project stands as 50%, 30% and 20% respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that will be used for Peakload. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Hydrogen, Oil.
