Description

The project was developed by Boralex, Enercon Canada and FWRN. The project is currently owned by Boralex with a stake of 50%.

The project generates 168GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 76,000 households, offsetting 17,748t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2015 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in November 2016.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Independent Electricity System Operator under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2016.

Contractors involved

Borea Construction and Hatch Energy were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Enercon was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 77 units of E-101 turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.

Enercon is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.

The wind power project consists of Concrete towers supplied by Enercon Canada.
