Description

The project was developed by Sonnedix and is currently owned by Nippon Solar Services GK.

Nippon Miyako Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 65 hectares.

The project generates 39,500MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 13,200 households, offsetting 19,200t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in June 2020.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Tohoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

Daiwa House Industry was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Hanwha Solutions was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company supplied modules with rated capacity of 340W.

The inverters were procured from Huawei Technologies for the project.

Daiwa House Industry is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
