The project was developed by African Clean Energy Developments and Nojoli Wind Farm (RF). Enel Green Power RSA and Pele Green Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 30% respectively.
The project generates 275GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 86,000 households, offsetting 251,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $174.24m.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Eskom Holdings SOC under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
