The project is currently owned by Cambridgeshire County Council with a stake of 100%.
North Angle Solar Project is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 76 hectares.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 12,000 households, to offset 90,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $25.172m.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2021. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
