Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by LondonEnergy.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 127,000 households, to offset 215,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The process of combustion will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Industrial waste and municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Hitachi Zosen Inova will be the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company is expected to provide 1 turbine with 70MW nameplate capacity.
