The project was developed by Northwester 2. Parkwind and Summit Tailwind Belgium are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 70% and 30% respectively.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.

The project generates 8,186,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 230,000 households, offsetting 500,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The power generated from the project is sold to RWE Supply & Trading under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 218.5MW.

Contractors involved

Vestas Offshore Wind was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 23 units of V164-9.5 MW turbines, each with 9.5MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Offshore Wind is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 15 years.
