Description

The project was developed by Cypress Creek Renewables and Pine Gate Renewables. John Hancock Life Insurance and Pine Gate Renewables are currently owning the project.

NorWest Energy Eagle Point Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 84,598 square meters.

The project generates 23,250.399MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 2,141 households, offsetting 16,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $21.063m.

Development status

The project got commissioned in December 2017.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to PacifiCorp under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors involved

Boviet Solar Technology was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 43,377 modules each with 300W of nameplate capacity.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 12 of its Sunny Central 800CP-US inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising trackers supplied by Soltec Energias Renovables.
