Description

The project was developed by Yunnan Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower and is currently owned by China Huaneng Group.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 23,700 million cubic meter. The project generated 24,000 GWh of electricity.

Nuozhadu (Nuozhadu Units 2-9) is equipped with Voith Hydro Shanghai francis turbines. The phase consists of 8 turbines with 650MW nameplate capacity.

DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery supplied 6 electric generators for the Nuozhadu (Nuozhadu Unit 1). The generator capacity is 650 MVA.

ALSTOM Hydro China supplied 3 electric generators for the Nuozhadu (Nuozhadu Units 2-9). The generator capacity is 722 MVA.
