Nurek (Unit 2_Active) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2019-2022.Nurek (Unit 3, 4) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2019-2023.Nurek (Unit 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2024-2028. The project generated 11,200 GWh of electricity.

Nurek (Unit 1) consists of 1 unit of francis turbine with 320MW nameplate capacity.

Nurek (Unit 2_Active) consists of 1 unit of francis turbine with 375MW nameplate capacity.

Nurek (Unit 3, 4) consists of 2 units of francis turbines with 335MW nameplate capacity.
