The project is being developed by RWE Renewables and Windanker. The project is currently owned by Iberdrola Renovables Deutschland with a stake of 100%. The project will be spread over an area of 25km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed monopile foundations and will be interconnected by 33kV inter-array cable.

The wind power project consists of 21 turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.

The turbines that are getting installed on the project will be using Tubular Steel towers.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.

Power purchase agreement and Mercedes-Benz Group are expected to be the power offtakers from the project.
