Description

The project is being developed by Doveryard and is currently owned by Octopus Energy with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 30,000 households.

Refuse which is a kind of municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Shapoorji Pallonji, STC Power and Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the biopower project.

JFE Engineering is likely to be the supplier of the steam boiler for the project. The boiler that will get installed at the site is expected to have a capacity of 83TPH. The temperature expected to be witnessed inside the boiler will be around 425°C. The steam will be pressurized inside the boiler at 62bar.

Shapoorji Pallonji, STC Power and Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy are expected to be contracted for rendering of operations & maintenance services for the project.
