Description

The project is being developed by Gijzenberg Windenergie, RWE and Waddenwind. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.

The Oostpolder Windpark (Oostpolder Windpark IA), will have 155m high towers.

The Oostpolder Windpark (Oostpolder Windpark II), will have 155m high towers.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by November 2021.

Essent and RWE Supply & Trading are expected to be the power offtakers from the project.

Enercon will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 21 units of E-136 EP5 turbines, each with 4.65MW nameplate capacity.
