The project was developed by Oriden and United Renewable Energy. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America and Osaka Gas USA are currently owning the project.

Oriden Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 55 acres.

The project generates 19,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 1,600 households.

The power generated from the project is sold to Blue Ridge Energies under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
