Description

The project was developed by Eolus Vind Norge and Oyfjellet Wind. The project is currently owned by Aquila Capital Concepts with a stake of 13.7%.

The project generates 1,320,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 82,500 households.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Alcoa Norway ANS under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years from 2022. The contracted capacity is 400MW.

Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 72 units of N149/5.X turbines.

Nordex is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2022, for a period of 20 years.
