Description
The project is being developed by Ozu Biomass Power. INFRONEER Holdings, Japan Petroleum Exploration, Yonden Business and Shinko Denso are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 54%, 35%, 8% and 3% respectively.
The project is expected to generate 350GWh of electricity.
Wood pellets which is a kind of wood by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by August 2024.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Shikoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement.
