Description

The project is co-owned by JERA and Marubeni, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is bituminous. In case of shortage of bituminous the plant can also run on Light Fuel Oil.

Development status

The project got commissioned in June 1996.
