The project is currently owned by Societatea Complexul Energetic Hunedoara with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is hard coal. In case of shortage of hard coal the plant can also run on Gas. The fuel is procured from Jiu Valley Coal Field.
