Parque Atacama Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 450 hectares.
The project generates 470GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 100,000 households, offsetting 200,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $180m.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to AES Andes under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years.

Power Electronics Espana supplied 48 inverters to the project site.
