Description

The project is currently owned by Corporacion Electrica Nacional with a stake of 100%.

It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.

The project generated 2,206,630MWh of electricity. The project cost is $387.45m.

Contractors involved

Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of SGT6-5000F gas turbines, each with 150MW nameplate capacity.
