Perote II Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 316 hectares.
The project is expected to generate 248,370MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 72,916 households. The project is expected to offset 161,436t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $150m.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2019. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
