The project is being developed and currently owned by BayWa r.e. UK and Grune Energien Solar. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.
Perrinpit Road Solar Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 200 acres.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 15,000 households, to offset 26,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $43.313m.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
