Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority.

Phandar is a run-of-river project. The gross head and net head of the project will be 237m and 235.7m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, is expected to be 2 in number. The penstock length will be 408m. The project is expected to generate 331 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines, each with 20MW nameplate capacity.

The project has 4 electric generators that will be installed at the project site.
