Description

The project is being developed by Fujian Zhongmin Offshore Wind Power and is currently owned by Fujian Investment and Development Group with a stake of 100%. The turbines will be mounted on fixed type foundations.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2015. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by August 2016.

Contractors involved

Pinghaiwan (Pinghaiwan Phase I) will be equipped with XEMC Windpower XE/DD128 turbines. The phase consists of 10 turbines with 5MW nameplate capacity.

Pinghaiwan (Pinghaiwan Phase IIA) will be equipped with Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment SWT-6.0-154 turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 6MW nameplate capacity.

Pinghaiwan (Pinghaiwan Phase IIB ) will be equipped with Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment SWT-6.0-154 turbines. The phase consists of 5 turbines with 6MW nameplate capacity.

Pinghaiwan (Pinghaiwan Phase IIC) will be equipped with Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment SWT-6.0-154 turbines. The phase consists of 35 turbines with 6MW nameplate capacity.

Pinghaiwan (Pinghaiwan Phase III) will be equipped with Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment SWT-7.0-154 turbines. The phase consists of 44 turbines with 7MW nameplate capacity.
