Poringalkuthu (Poringalkuthu Left Bank) is equipped with Bharat Heavy Electricals francis turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 16MW nameplate capacity.
The electric generators for the project were procured from Andritz Hydro and Bharat Heavy Electricals.
