The PTTEP Gas Fired Power Plant is 600MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Ayeyarwady, Myanmar. It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel will be procured from Zawtika block & M3 Field.
The project cost is expected to be around $569.286m.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Electric Power Generation Enterprise under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
