It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is diesel. In case of shortage of diesel the plant can also run on Natural Gas.

POSCO Engineering & Construction was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the oil fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Oil fired project. The company provided 4 gas turbines, each with 180MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power supplied 212MVA, 18KV electric generator for the project.
