The project was developed by China Power International Holding and Pacific Hydro. The project is currently owned by China Power International Holding with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 282GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 170,000 households, offsetting 100,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
