Description

The project is being developed by Acwa Power and Al-Babtain Holding Investment. The project is co-owned by Acwa Power, Al-Babtain Holding Investment and Gulf Investment, with their respective ownership stake of 33.3% each.

Qurrayat Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project is expected to generate 614,350MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 29,250 households.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Saudi Power Procurement under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
