The project is being developed by Acwa Power and Al-Babtain Holding Investment. Al-Babtain Holding Investment, Acwa Power and Gulf Investment are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 33.34%, 33.33% and 33.33% respectively.

Qurrayat Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project is expected to generate 614,350MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 29,250 households.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Saudi Power Procurement under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
