Description

The project was developed by Rampion Offshore Wind. RWE Renewables UK, Green Investment Group and Enbridge are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50.1%, 25% and 24.9% respectively.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.

The project generates 1,349,714.52MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 400,000 households, offsetting 600,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $1,730.01m.

The project has 80m high towers.

Vestas Offshore Wind was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 116 units of V112-3.45 MW turbines, each with 3.45MW nameplate capacity.
