Description

Qatar Electricity & Water Co QPSC, Engie and JERA are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 55%, 40% and 5% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Qatar Petroleum.

The project generated 4,715,728MWh of electricity. The project cost is $1,154.56m.

The project got commissioned in May 2006.
