The project is being developed and currently owned by 174 Power Global and TotalEnergies. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.
Rayos del Sol Extension Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.
The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 80,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $72.72m.
Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Constellation NewEnergy under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2022.
