Description

The project is being developed by DWW Rev I. The project is co-owned by Eversource Energy and Orsted US Offshore Wind, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 400,000 households, to offset 1,000,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Power purchase agreement

Eversource Energy, National Grid USA Service and The United Illuminating are expected to be the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors involved

Revolution Wind Farm (Revolution Wind Phase I) will be equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SG 11.0-200 DD turbines. The phase consists of turbines with 11MW nameplate capacity.

Revolution Wind Farm (Revolution Wind Phase II) will be equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SG 11.0-200 DD turbines. The phase consists of turbines with 11MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the project.
