Ridgely Energy Farm Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 2,344 acres.
The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 2,940t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $281.7m.
Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in November 2024.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Tennessee Valley Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 177MW.
