The project was developed by EDP Renewables North America. Connor Clark & Lunn Infrastructure and EDP Renovaveis are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

Riverstart Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 1,400 acres.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 36,000 households.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Hoosier Energy Rural Electric Cooperative under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 200MW.
