Description

The project was developed by Riverview. Enel Alberta Wind and Enel Green Power Canada are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 99% and 1% respectively.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Alberta Electric System Operator under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.037kWh for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 115MW.

Contractors involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 28 units of V136-4.2 MW turbines, each with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.
