Description
The project is currently owned by Dairyland Power Cooperative with a stake of 100%.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Peakload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from ANR Pipeline.
The project generated 454,799MWh of electricity.

The power generated from the project is sold to Wisconsin Power and Light under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors involved
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 3 units of MS7001FA-60 Hz gas turbines, each with 187MW nameplate capacity.
