Description

The project was developed by China Gezhouba Group and is currently owned by Iran Water and Power Resources Development.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 228 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 431m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 2 in number. The penstock length is 2,400m. The penstock diameter is 4m. The project generated 986 GWh of electricity.

China Gezhouba Group was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the hydro power project.
