Description

The project is currently owned by Rousch (Pakistan) Power.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited.

The project generated 2,760,000MWh of electricity.

The power generated from the project is sold to Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 30 years.
