Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by RYK Energy.
The process of combustion will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
RYKML Biomass Power Plant (RYKML Biomass Power Plant Phase III) consists of 1 unit of Extraction Cum Condensing turbine with 25MW nameplate capacity.
Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2015.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Multan Electric Power under a power purchase agreement.
